Ipak Yuli at Namangan Flower Fest
How flowers gain a new life
In 2025, Ipak Yuli Bank became the general partner of the international Namangan Flower Fest. We launched an initiative to recycle wilted flowers, giving them a second life as aromatic candles, postcards, and souvenirs.

The Bank’s ESG strategy is a comprehensive approach to doing business based on the principles of environmental and social responsibility, as well as sound corporate governance. This strategy is aimed at ensuring that the Bank takes into account the impact of its activities on the environment, society, and governance principles, striving for sustainable development while minimizing negative consequences.

This project is part of the Bank’s comprehensive ESG strategy, which includes:

Environmental

Reducing waste and promoting the reuse of materials — this is why the flowers were given a second life, and the packaging was made from the Bank’s recycled banners.

Supporting projects that contribute to environmental protection and reducing the carbon footprint.

Developing and promoting “green” financial products that encourage sustainable mobility and energy efficiency.

Social Responsibility

Engaging volunteers, including Bank employees from different regions, strengthening corporate culture and engagement.

Supporting local artisans — the creation of souvenirs and candles was made possible through collaboration with the Tenderley workshop.

Promoting a culture of conscious consumption and eco-friendly lifestyles among residents and visitors of the festival.

Governance

Transparent organization of the project in partnership with the city administration and horticulturists.

Responsible use of sponsorship resources, directed not only toward the festive aspect but also toward initiatives with long-term impact.

As a result, the festival became not only a celebration of flowers but also an example of how business can inspire people to treat resources with care. For Ipak Yuli, caring for the environment is not a one-time action, but a permanent vector of development embedded in the Bank’s strategy and values.
