Ipak Yuli Bank Receives Two Awards for Achievements in the “Green” Economy

Ipak Yuli Bank has received two prestigious awards at a ceremony marking the conclusion of the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) program, established by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The awards “For progress in decarbonizing the economy with GEFF Uzbekistan” and “Green TFP: Best in Class Technology Project” highlight the bank’s role in advancing environmental and energy-saving solutions.

A representative of Ipak Yuli Bank spoke at a thematic session on “Progress, Challenges, and Next Steps in Transitioning to a Green Economy in Uzbekistan”. “Receiving two EBRD awards at once is an important milestone for our bank on the path to a sustainable future. We are pleased that our initiatives in energy conservation and green technologies have been so highly recognized, and we will continue our efforts to expand environmental projects that support the country’s overall development,” said the management of Ipak Yuli Bank.

Ipak Yuli Bank expresses its gratitude to the organizers and partners for their high regard of its work in ecology and energy efficiency. Going forward, the bank plans to continue developing green projects and strengthening cooperation with international institutions, thereby making a significant contribution to Uzbekistan’s sustainable development.
