Global Money Week 2021: Learn. Accumulate. Earn.
Within the framework of the world "Global Money Week" conducted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) under the coordination of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and with the slogan "Learn. Accumulate. Earn", Joint-Stock Investment and Commercial Bank "Ipak Yuli" organized the event on financial literacy among schoolchildren of Kashkadarya region.
This is the second year when JSICB “ Ipak Yuli” took part in this global event and contributes to improvement of financial literacy among the young generation of Uzbekistan.
In order to develop GMW-2021 five schools were approved, the students of which participated in the Global Money Week 2021.
The students gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills on financial literacy at the open lessons conducted by the teachers of their schools.
With the help of educational events of the Week, students had a chance to learn about important things:
- about the need for a financial planning and keeping track of income and expenses in the short term.
- about the key rules of financial security and whom they should address in the case of emergency.
- and most importantly, not everything can be bought. And that basic values - life, trust, joy of loved ones - cannot be bought for money.
The best of the conducted open lessons were awarded with memorable gifts and prizes from Joint-Stock Investment and Commercial Bank "Ipak Yuli".

Secondary School № 23 Karshi city
Mathematics teacher Dzheparova N.Sh. Theme: "Simple and compound interests” 8th "D" grade.
School № 6-IDUM Kashkadarya province Chirokchi district
Mathematics teacher Alikulov M.J. Theme: "Simple and compound interests” 8th "B" grade.
Middle school № 3 Kashkadarya region Kamashin district
Economics teacher Mustafoeva Sh.A. Theme "Loans for entrepreneurs” 9th B" grade.
The awarding ceremony took place in the branch of Joint-Stock Investment and Commercial Bank "Ipak Yuli" located in Karshi (Kashkadarya region).
Children were given the opportunity to get introduced with the bank. The bank specialists explained to the young generation what are credits, deposits and how to use the bank's mobile application, because financial literacy is not only interesting but also very useful!
Participation in GMW 2021 has a positive impact on the lives of young people and their financial literacy, also it can help them to increase their income in the future, develop entrepreneurial ideas and expand their opportunities!
