Frequently asked questions
A limit is a limit on the amount of purchases made with a child's card. It helps protect the parent's account from unnecessary spending and teaches the child to plan a budget.
How limits work
Depending on time and operations: limits can be set per purchase, per day, or per month.
Example: If you set a monthly limit of 1,000,000 soums, the child will not be able to spend a single more sum until the month is over.
Accounts Independence: limits apply only to children's cards. They do not affect the balance of the primary (parent) card.
Flexibility: If you have several children, each card has its own rules.
Important: only parents at the bank office can set, change, or remove limits. The child cannot change the restrictions themselves.
Why do we need limits?
Safety. A child will not accidentally or impulsively spend all the money in your account.
Financial literacy. Having pocket money with a clear limit, a child learns to allocate resources and save.
Important: The Visa Kids Card is an international card, therefore its limits are calculated based on the Central Bank's US dollar exchange rate. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, the limit amount in UZS may slightly differ from the stated value (typically within ±1,000 UZS). For example, a limit of 50,000 UZS may appear as 49,500 UZS or 50,500 UZS on different days.
Important: only parents at the bank office can set, change, or remove limits. The child cannot change the restrictions themselves.
