On September 15, 2025, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a conference marking the first anniversary of the implementation of the international Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative — WE-Finance Code. 

The WE-Finance Code is a global initiative launched in 2023 by the World Bank and the IMF to expand women entrepreneurs’ access to finance and create equal opportunities for business growth. Today, the Code is implemented in more than 30 countries worldwide. 

By joining the WE-Finance Code, Ipak Yuli Bank became an official signatory and confirmed its commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs. 

During the conference, we took part in a panel session where we shared our experience with the Women in Business in Central Asia program and outlined our future development plans. 

For us, joining the WE-Finance Code means: 

- adopting international standards for working with women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (WSMEs); 

- expanding access to investments and global resources; 

- developing innovative products and services tailored to women entrepreneurs; strengthening the trust of clients, partners, and investors; 

- joining the global network of signatories and sharing best practices.

 We will continue to work systematically on improving financial inclusion and literacy for women entrepreneurs, offering solutions that help them scale their businesses and create new jobs.
