OneID and Personal Data: What You Should Check

Through the OneID system, you can manage access to your personal data — allowing or restricting its transfer to other organizations only with your consent.

What this means in practice

When using digital services, your data (full name, passport details, etc.) may be requested for online identification and transaction verification. OneID allows you to personally control which organizations are permitted to receive this data and which are not.

This approach:

- reduces the risk of unauthorized access to information

- helps protect your data from fraudulent activities

- ensures transparency: you can see who is requesting access and for what purpose

Which services are affected

Access settings in OneID directly impact your ability to receive services online. This may include:

- applying for loans, microloans, and installment plans

- opening bank accounts and cards

- online customer identification (KYC)

- insurance and telecom services

- access to electronic government services

If access to your data is restricted, a service may be temporarily unavailable online or may require additional verification.

How to check and change your settings

- go to id.egov.uz

- sign in using an EDS, Mobile-ID, or QR code

- open the “Personal Data Management” section and adjust access permissions

Convenient: the OneID mobile app is available on Google Play and the App Store. When logging in via QR code, the data management section opens automatically — faster and easier.
