Tashkent, April 18, 2025 — JSICB “Ipak Yuli” and the company q.watt have signed a Memorandum of Strategic Climate Partnership aimed at developing sustainable urban mobility, supporting the green economy, and building convenient, eco-friendly infrastructure in Tashkent

One of the key pillars of this partnership is the launch of TashkentRide powered by Ipak Yuli Bank x q.watt — Uzbekistan’s first co-branded urban bike-sharing service. The project combines modern technology, green transport, and comfort for the residents of the capital.

The partnership encompasses a broad range of initiatives, including:

- Organizing large-scale events such as bike marathons, eco-festivals, and city-wide green campaigns;

- Promoting self-employment and the growth of small businesses in the sustainable mobility sector;

The integration with digital platforms reflects the bank’s commitment to technological advancement, the expansion of digital channels, and the creation of meaningful everyday touchpoints with customers. The project is tailored for a young and active audience that values convenience and eco-conscious transportation.

q.watt also emphasized the importance of joint action in promoting sustainable solutions and green city infrastructure.

The two sides will finalize a shared roadmap that outlines implementation phases and performance monitoring mechanisms. In the future, the partners plan to expand the project to other cities across Uzbekistan and introduce new forms of environmentally friendly transport.
