Ipak Yuli Bank reached another milestone in its international development by signing loan agreements with three leading European financial institutions: Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank AG (Austria), Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A. (Italy), and Allianz Credit Emerging Markets Fund S.A., SICAV-RAIF (Luxembourg), managed by Allianz Global Investors.

The agreements provide a total financing package of USD 80 million, marking another significant step in strengthening the Bank's international partnerships and expanding access to finance for businesses across Uzbekistan.

The proceeds will be used to finance micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. At least thirty-five percent of the financing will be allocated to women-owned businesses, ensuring alignment with the 2X Challenge framework. In addition, at least 30% will support eligible green projects (covering energy efficiency, green buildings, renewable energy, water efficiency and clean transportation sub-projects that meet the lenders' green eligibility criteria) and the remaining proceeds will finance other qualifying sub-loans.

The transaction underscores the confidence that leading European financial institutions place in Ipak Yuli Bank and reinforces the Bank's role in supporting sustainable private sector development. It will expand access to finance for entrepreneurs, support the financing of energy efficiency and other green sub-projects, and enhance economic opportunities for women-owned businesses across Uzbekistan.
 

The Bank's new partners are internationally recognized financial institutions, including two Development Finance Institutions, with a shared commitment to promoting sustainable economic growth, improving access to finance, and fostering private sector development globally.
