A pilot training on the Gender Intelligence Training Program will be held at the Ipak Yuli Bank Training Center in frame of a joint project of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan (CBRUz) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) “Promoting gender diversity in the banking sector of Uzbekistan”. As part of this Training Program, a group of trainers were trained at the first stage to teach the training to the wider banking audience.

The training will introduce participants to basic gender concepts, gender in the institutional setting, the economic benefits of gender diversity, international best practices in gender mainstreaming, taking in account the gender aspects in the development of banking products, as well as the tools and methods used to promote gender equality in the workplace and gender sensitive monitoring. International best practices on gender mainstreaming will be presented through examples and case studies.

Employees of Ipak Yuli Bank, in particular members of the bank's Gender Council for Ensuring Equal Rights and Opportunities for Men and Women, the bank's gender focal points, as well as personnel of HR department and loan officers are invited to participate in the training.
