In Uzbekistan, the state ensures the protection of the population's deposits. Bank deposits are protected by law, which guarantees depositors reliability and confidence in the safety of their funds.

Since February 18, 2025, in accordance with the law “On guarantees for the protection of deposits in banks”, all deposits placed in banks are guaranteed for up to 200 million soums. In the event of a bank’s license being revoked or liquidated, depositors receive compensation through the Deposit Insurance Agency.

If the deposit amount exceeds 200 million soums, the remaining part is the bank's liability, and its clients are provided with a return at the expense of the reserve capital and assets of the credit institution. This helps maintain the stability of the financial system and the confidence of large depositors in the reliability of the bank.

Thus, bank deposits are not just a way to save money, but also a tool for increasing it, provided with reliable guarantees and transparent conditions.
