Environmental lessons across Uzbekistan
One of the key activities of the Green Generation project was a series of environmental lessons for schoolchildren in various regions of Uzbekistan. The initiative aimed to introduce children to the principles of environmental stewardship in an accessible and engaging way and to demonstrate that environmental responsibility begins with the daily actions of each person.
As part of the project, environmental lessons were held in schools in Karshi, the Bukhara region, and Tashkent. The lessons were conducted in an interactive format with the participation of eco-blogger and founder of the Batareyka.uz project, Feruzbek Saifullaev.
Particular attention was paid to engaging schoolchildren in the learning process. Instead of traditional lectures, the lessons included practical assignments, open discussions, and active games, which helped children better understand the importance of eco-friendly habits and caring for nature. In some schools, students also presented their own drawings dedicated to ecology and their personal views on the world around them.
In total, environmental lessons were held in 15 classrooms as part of the initiative, reaching 410 schoolchildren. Classes were organized for 174 students in Karshi, 174 in the Bukhara region, and 62 in Tashkent.
The Green Generation project continues to foster a conscious attitude toward the environment in the younger generation, transforming environmental education into a vibrant, understandable, and practice-oriented process.
