Green Generation Children's Eco-Almanac

As part of the Green Generation project, Ipak Yuli Bank, in collaboration with Asian Book House and the children's environmental movement "Time of Heroes," released the children's eco-almanac "Yashil Avlod"—a collection of stories and illustrations created by children on the topics of nature, ecology, and caring for the environment.

Approximately 100 children from various regions of Uzbekistan, including 13 children with cancer, participated in the creation of the book. The young authors shared their own stories about nature and the world around them, and their illustrations were also included in the almanac, making the publication even more personal and expressive.

This initiative aims to increase environmental literacy among the younger generation and develop a conscious attitude toward the environment in children through creativity. "Yashil Avlod" became a platform where children could not only express their views on ecology but also engage with other readers, sharing their own stories and ideas.

A total of 500 copies of the almanac were published. The books are planned to be donated to school libraries across Uzbekistan, where the bank conducts environmental lectures as part of the Green Generation project. Thus, the work of young authors will become part of the environmental education of schoolchildren across the country.

The name "Yashil avlod," which means "Green Generation" in Uzbek, reflects the project's core idea: nurturing a generation that, from an early age, understands its responsibility for the future of the environment.
